whitewash, but sadly not altogether unexpected,\u201d the <a data-aps-asc-tag=\"pagesix-20\" data-aps-asin=\"0593593804\" the court says there is not sufficient evidence of wrongdoing, despite the documents showing otherwise, then one does wonder how justice was ever going to be achieved.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Harry and Lawrence said they feel like the court has \u201cone rule for the newspapers and another for the claimants.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile the claimants presented evidence, Mail journalists simply gave denials, and the court chose uncritically to believe them, even in the face of inconsistencies, contradictions and blatant untruths that were obvious to neutral observers in court when compared to the documents,\u201d they alleged.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe presented to the court evidence which we believed was compelling at the time and remains so now.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image Lawrence concluded their statement by thanking their legal team \u201cfor all their hard work\u201d and the witnesses \u201cwho were brave enough to come forward in the pursuit of justice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday morning, a UK High Court judge ruled against Harry\u2019s favor in his case against ANL \u2014 the publisher of the Daily Mail and the Mail on Sunday \u2014 whom the royal accused of unlawfully obtaining information.<\/p>\n<p>Judge Matthew Nicklin said in his ruling that the claimants\u2019 allegations were serious but they had not proven that the information used by ANL for its articles was not obtained unlawfully.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>In 2022, Harry (seen above with Andy court rejected the argument that, simply because information was private, and because Associated could not positively explain how it had been sourced, the relevant article must have been unlawfully sourced,\u201d he wrote in the summary, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2026\/07\/07\/media\/prince-harry-privacy-case-intl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">per CNN<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In 2022, Harry filed a lawsuit against ANL, claiming the company used listening devices placed in cars and homes and hired private detectives to illegally obtain information about them from the 1990s to 2011.<\/p>\n<p>ANL previously denied the allegations and claimed their information was legitimately sourced.<\/p>\n<p>In January, the 10-week trial began. <\/p>\n<figure he shared that his wife, Megan Markle, <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/07\/07\/royal-family\/prince-harry-happy-to-be-back-in-the-uk-despite-security-concerns-keeping-meghan-markle-kids-away\/\">arrived back in the UK<\/a> on Monday to promote\u00a0next year\u2019s Invictus Games, which will be hosted in Birmingham.<\/p>\n<p>The former helicopter pilot was supposed to bring the \u201cSuits\u201d alum, 44, and their children \u2014 Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5 \u2014 to England; however, Markle and the kids stayed in the US after being\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/06\/28\/royal-family\/prince-harry-meghan-markle-and-kids-may-scrap-uk-visit-after-being-denied-taxpayer-funded-security\/\">denied taxpayer-funded security<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Moments after learning of the judge\u2019s ruling, Harry <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/07\/07\/royal-family\/prince-harry-forced-to-give-speech-moments-after-learning-about-humiliating-court-defeat\/\">gave a welcome address<\/a> at the 14th Invictus
