Even so, this is another reminder that litigation isn\u2019t just risky for Harry\u2019s reputation. It can also carry a very real financial price tag!\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Royal expert Kinsey Schofield told Page Six SplashNews.com<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A UK High Court judge ruled against Harry and the other claimants, explaining they did not provide sufficient proof the stories were obtained unlawfully.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis judgment represents a complete reversal of the position which previous judges have taken in relation to the hacking claims successfully brought against both News Group Newspapers and Mirror Group Newspapers (who were represented by, at the time, the judge who made this decision).\u201d<\/p>\n<p>They added, \u201cGeneric findings about various private investigators that were held by the courts in these parallel claims to have carried out unlawful activity at the very same time in relation to similar stories and well-known individuals have been wholly ignored.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Prince Harry is expected to meet with his father, King Charles III, seen earlier this month Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cIt is a complete and obvious whitewash, but sadly not altogether unexpected,\u201d\u00a0the statement read. \u201cHowever, the lengths to which the court has gone to exonerate the Mail is as shocking as it is totally unwarranted.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen the court says there is not sufficient evidence of wrongdoing, despite the documents showing otherwise, then one does wonder how justice was ever going to be achieved,\u201d the statement read before Harry and Lawrence thanked their legal team.<\/p>\n<p>In 2022,  Harry accused Associated Newspapers of obtaining personal information about him by using listening devices placed in cars and homes, among other allegations that the publishing company has denied.<\/p>\n<p>A 10-week trial began in January, with Harry claiming he and <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/01\/21\/royal-family\/prince-harry-says-meghan-markles-royal-life-was-absolute-misery-during-uk-tabloid-trial-testimony\/\">Markle lived in \u201cabsolute has kicked off on a rocky note as Markle and their two children \u2014 Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5 \u2014 were forced to stay home after being <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/06\/28\/royal-family\/prince-harry-meghan-markle-and-kids-may-scrap-uk-visit-after-being-denied-taxpayer-funded-security\/\">denied taxpayer-funded security<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To add insult to injury, <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/07\/06\/royal-family\/prince-harrys-buckingham-palace-invite-withdrawn-at-the-last-moment\/\">Buckingham Palace also rescinded its offer<\/a> for Harry to stay there during his solo visit.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><a
