{"id":8417,"date":"2026-07-10T15:35:39","date_gmt":"2026-07-10T15:35:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/fears-for-delicate-wildlife-after-a-list-bash-rages-at-hamptons-beach\/"},"modified":"2026-07-10T15:35:39","modified_gmt":"2026-07-10T15:35:39","slug":"fears-for-delicate-wildlife-after-a-list-bash-rages-at-hamptons-beach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/login9ja.com\/global\/fears-for-delicate-wildlife-after-a-list-bash-rages-at-hamptons-beach\/","title":{"rendered":"Fears for delicate wildlife after A-list bash rages at Hamptons beach"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/wp-content%2Fuploads%2Fsites%2F3%2F2026%2F07%2F133905376.jpg?quality%3D90%26strip%3Dall\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Authorities feared for the lives of vulnerable birds after an A-list party raged on a Hamptons beach.<\/p>\n<p>Leonardo DiCaprio, Alix Earle, Mike Tyson, Tobey Maguire, Travis Scott and more hit the dunes last weekend for nightlife guru Richie Akiva\u2019s annual The Afters bash, this year thrown with fashion brand Elie Tahari.<\/p>\n<p>But we\u2019re told that while revelers nursed hangovers the next morning, village authorities are surveying the damage to the local wildlife.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWow,\u201d they added, \u201ctoo much.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The stretch of beach between Sagaponack and East Hampton is a vital breeding ground for the endangered piping plover.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>We\u2019re told by multiple people that the party had permits for a certain timeframe but that it blew through that curfew.<\/p>\n<p>In other emails we\u2019ve reviewed, a local complained to the village clerk in an email with the subject, \u201cSad day and major damage at\u2026 beach,\u201d with photos showing heavy equipment being used to remove a temporary metal roadway from the beach, apparently a remnant of the bash.<\/p>\n<p>A member of the authorities sent it to a colleague, saying of the roadway, \u201cAny way you can add this to any violations while your writing violations?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One local fumed that equipment and staging materials were left in several of the limited public parking spaces at the start of a hot summer day when locals wanted to take a dip.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cImpinging public access to such an important public asset is beyond reason,\u201d they railed.<\/p>\n<p>Elie Tahari didn\u2019t get back to us.
