announced in October <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/10\/31\/entertainment\/ariana-grande-returns-to-tv-after-a-decade-for-american-horror-story-season-13\/\">as a cast member in Ryan Murphy\u2019s horror franchise<\/a>, but couldn\u2019t swing the filming schedule after production dates were changed.<\/p>\n<p>The pop star hasn\u2019t filmed anything for the forthcoming installment, <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2026\/07\/ariana-grande-exits-ahs-season-13-1236979292\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sources told Deadline<\/a>. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Ariana Grande (pictured above at the 2026 Golden Globes ceremony) will no longer be starring in Ryan Murphy\u2019s wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Grande was expected to join Murphy\u2019s star-studded cast, which includes several familiar faces from previous seasons like Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Jessica Lange, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, John Waters, Frances Conroy and Leslie Grossman.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, John Carroll Lynch, Mena Suvari and Matt Fraser are said to be returning as characters.<\/p>\n<p>Stars like Paul Anthony Kelly, Berto Col\u00f3n, and Joey Pollari \u2014 all of whom have appeared in other Murphy projects \u2014 are also slated to make their \u201cAHS\u201d debuts in the new season. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>She was expected to make her by newcomer Alex Consani and \u201cNot Suitable for Work\u201d star Avantika.<\/p>\n<p>It remains unclear what Grande\u2019s role in the project was going to be \u2014 which is typically the case with the Murphy\u2019s productions, as details are normally kept under tight wraps.<\/p>\n<p>When asked what she might be bringing to the new season in her franchise debut, the \u201cWicked\u201d star <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Variety\/status\/1990235614583849347?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1990235614583849347%7Ctwgr%5E75fc951b62225367664d0ba08a776a92b5c22373%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fvariety.com%2F2026%2Fmusic%2Fnews%2Fariana-grande-exits-american-horror-story-13-tour-1236806759%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told Variety<\/a> in November: \u201cI know a little tiny bit [about the role] but what I know I can\u2019t say,\u201d <\/p>\n<figure involved.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Grande previously starred in another of Murphy\u2019s hit series, \u201cScream Queens,\u201d in 2015, where she worked alongside Roberts, Lourd, Abigail Breslin, Lea Michele and Keke Palmer.<\/p>\n<p>The Academy Award-nominated actress is booked and busy these days with her tour \u2014 a few dates of which she recently had to <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/06\/29\/entertainment\/ariana-grande-makes-unfortunate-announcement-regarding-eternal-sunshine-tour\/\">reschedule due to production issues<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure <\/p>\n<p>Originally scheduled for July 22 and July 24, the two shows were moved to July 23 and July 26, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, Grande expressed in a social media statement that she was \u201cso sorry\u201d the dates were rescheduled, but noted that it needed to be done so the shows can be \u201cdelivered safely and as intended.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The tour is in support of the Grammy winner\u2019s seventh studio album, \u201cEternal Sunshine,\u201d which was released in 2024.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><a
