Tetley, 44, was jailed for nine years in 2020 after admitting offences involving seven teenage boys, aged 15 and 16, pestering them to send him indecent pictures in return for money.<!-- --><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The singer, from Wibsey, West Yorkshire, also received an extended licence period of eight years following his release. He was also made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order for 20 years. He pleaded guilty to multiple child sex offences before being sentenced.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The Ministry of Justice confirmed to the <a target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\" rel=\"follow\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"\">Mirror<\/a> that Tetley has now been released from custody after serving two-thirds of the custodial element of his sentence. They can be recalled to prison for breaching these conditions or exhibiting behaviour suggesting they pose an increased risk to the public.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Tetley appeared on ITV&#8217;s the <a target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/all-about\/x-factor\" rel=\"follow\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_self\">X Factor<\/a> in 2018, reaching the live shows before being eliminated at the semi-final stage.
