But her alleged boyfriend, Roy Hernandez, <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/06\/17\/celebrity-news\/daveigh-chases-boyfriend-set-up-gofundme-to-help-actress-find-comfort-and-peace-in-final-days-before-death\/\">created a GoFundMe campaign<\/a> to help her \u201cfind comfort and peace\u201d in her final days before her death.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDaveigh Chase, my girlfriend, has always been a light in my life. Many people know her as a talented childhood actor from \u2018Lilo &amp; Stitch,\u2019 \u2018Spirited Away,\u2019 and \u2018Donnie Darko.\u2019 But behind the scenes, she\u2019s faced more than her share of hardship,\u201d Hernandez shared in\u00a0the online campaign.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Daveigh died last month at just 35 years old. Together, we found moments of happiness and hope.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But Daveigh\u2019s former manager, John Ryan, later <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/06\/18\/celebrity-news\/daveigh-chases-former-manager-casts-doubt-on-late-actress-alleged-boyfriends-gofundme\/\">urged fans not to donate to Hernandez\u2019s GoFundMe<\/a> after it went viral.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cApparently, a man claiming to be her\u00a0\u2018boyfriend\u2019 that none of us friends or her family has heard of has\u00a0set up a GoFundMe on \u2018her and her\u00a0families behalf\u2019 that he set her up as\u00a0the organizer,\u201d Ryan\u00a0told The Post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can confirm Daveigh has a trust account set up at SAG to cover all costs,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan, who managed the late actress for more than a decade, also claimed she had \u201cmillions\u201d in unclaimed residual checks at the time of her death.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Despite apparently leaving behind $400K in private property and \u201cmillions\u201d in unclaimed residual checks, as her former manager, John Ryan, claimed, Daveigh was seen looking extremely skinny and barely conscious living on the streets of Los Angeles\u2019 notorious skid row in video obtained by The Post last month (a still of which is seen above). <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/whitewallstuntz<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The former child star was best known for her role in 2002\u2019s \u201cThe Ring\u201d and voicing the character Lilo in 2002\u2019s \u201cLilo &amp; Stitch.\u201d She\u2019s pictured here in June 2002. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In a disturbing clip\u00a0obtained exclusively by The Post last month, Daveigh can be seen looking extremely skinny and barely conscious on the floor of a tent or trailer in LA\u2019s notorious skid row.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan told the outlet that he and her stepsister Gaia Brown had enlisted the help of a private investigator in 2025 to track her down and get her some help, but after he was able to speak to Daveigh on the phone, she \u201cdisappeared\u201d again.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were so close to finding her,\u201d he told The Post. \u201cDaveigh was the sweetest and brightest light in Hollywood.
