Vicki Gunvalson is standing by Tamra Judge \u2014 even as she admits she wasn\u2019t a fan of how her longtime pal treated Shannon Beador.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou\u2019ll see this season, I did my very best to just kind of be the intermediator, but also say, \u2018We gotta stop this!\u2019\u201d Gunvalson says of the current \u201cRHOC\u201d installment. \u201cIn the real picture of the world, what are you guys fighting about?\u201d<\/p>\n
She continues, \u201cOK, let\u2019s say you don\u2019t respect each other, let\u2019s say you don\u2019t like each other \u2014 but we\u2019ve gotta work together, we\u2019ve got to be able to do this. So you\u2019re gonna see, I think things evolve a little bit.\u201d<\/p>\nVicki Gunvalson stopped by the Page Six studio to chat with \u201cVirtual Reali-Tea\u201d about the new season of \u201cThe Real Housewives of Orange County.\u201d Michael McWeeney<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\nGunvalson (left) shared her take on Tamra Judge (center) and Shannon Beador\u2019s (right) ongoing feud. Despite the harsh exchange, Gunvalson believes viewers will see a different side of Judge on this season of \u201cRHOC.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI know Shannon wasn\u2019t wanting to apologize because she didn\u2019t feel like she did anything wrong,\u201d she explains. \u201cTamra did really show some softness of herself this season \u2014 which I loved \u2014 because Tamra is a quality person.\u201d<\/p>\n
Still, Gunvalson says she didn\u2019t always agree with Judge\u2019s approach.<\/p>\nDespite the discord, Gunvalson defended Judge. Michael McWeeney<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\u201cTamra did really show some softness of herself this season \u2014 which I loved \u2014 because Tamra is a quality person,\u201d the OG of the OC gushed. Clifton Prescod\/Bravo<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\u201cI love Tamra and I just didn\u2019t like the way she was treating Shannon,\u201d she says. \u201cWhen you\u2019re friends with both of them, like, why are you being so mean?\u201d<\/p>\n
Gunvalson also weighed in on another premiere episode dust-up involving Jennifer Pedranti, who informed Judge that Heather Dubrow had allegedly been speaking negatively about their friendship.<\/p>\n
\u201cI didn\u2019t like that either,\u201d Gunvalson says. \u201cI just want everyone to get along and whoop it up. \u2026 I think maybe she\u2019s trying to find her way a little bit, which is fine, but it wasn\u2019t Jenn\u2019s position to do that.\u201d<\/p>\nBeador and Judge\u2019s latest bout of conflict stems from a combative scene filmed for \u201cReal Housewives Ultimate Road Trip.\u201d NBCU Photo Bank\/NBCUniversal via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\nBefore their dynamic devolved in recent years, Judge and Beador (pictured here at BravoCon 2022) were once very close. \u201cI haven\u2019t filmed with these ladies in four years,\u201d she says. \u201cI was a \u2018friend\u2019 a couple seasons and that was the worst thing to do because you didn\u2019t know what was going on and I\u2019m like, \u2018OK, what are we doing now? Why is everyone mad at each other?\u2019 So I come from a different place.\u201d<\/p>\n
These days, the Bravo veteran says age has taught her that holding onto grudges simply isn\u2019t worth it.<\/p>\nGunvalson, pictured here with Judge and Beador at a June 2026 event, returned to \u201cRHOC\u201d for its landmark 20th Season after a hiatus from filming full-time. Bravo<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\u201cAs you age, you also look at what is really important to stand true to yourself. You can\u2019t continue fights for season after season after season. Resolve it and move on,\u201d Gunvalson says.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd I think you\u2019re going to see some resolve this year.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Real Housewives of Orange County\u201d airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo with new episodes available to stream the next day on Peacock.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
