This is the terrifying moment a hospital worker, who lied about being pregnant, allegedly attempted to kidnap a newborn baby<\/a> from a hospital.<\/p>\n

A nursing technician at a maternity hospital in Teresina, northern Brazil, had been on medical leave but was able to get back into the ward with scrubs on. Auricelia de Sousa Rocha was arrested on Monday, a day after CCTV from the Evangelina Rosa Maternity Hospital showed a worker walking with the baby.<\/p>\n

The baby’s aunt, Daniela Beatriz, claimed Rocha approached the baby’s mum shortly after the birth and said the child needed a “heel prick test<\/a>“.<\/p>\n
