The incident happened during her first year of filming, meaning she was only 6 or 7 years old at the time.<\/p>\n<p>The actress joined the ABC sitcom in its fourth season, playing the youngest child of Dr. Jason Seaver (played by the late Alan Thicke) and his wife, Maggie (Joanna Kerns). Leonardo DiCaprio (seen here with the cast) joined the show in its final season. <span class=\"credit\">Disney General Entertainment Content via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The show ran for seven seasons between 1985 and 1992.<\/p>\n<p>Outside of \u201cGrowing Pains,\u201d Johnson is best known for voicing Gretchen Grundler on \u201cRecess\u201d and Gwen Tennyson in the \u201cBen 10\u201d universe as well as starring on \u201cBlindspot\u201d and providing the voice and motion capture for Ellie in \u201cThe Last of Us\u201d video games.<\/p>\n<p>Thicke <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2016\/12\/21\/alan-thicke-died-from-ruptured-artery\/\">died in December 2016<\/a> after suffering a heart attack.
