of brain cancer\u201d and \u201cmay have more good days behind her than ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The rocker\u2019s bandmates revealed her diagnosis on Monday while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DavTH0jDiFT\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">launching a GoFundMe<\/a> to help the 59-year-old following \u201cmultiple surgeries and serious complications.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJennifer now requires extensive medical care, rehabilitation and professional in-home support,\u201d her friends explained of their $350,000 goal.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>L7 bassist Jennifer Finch has been diagnosed with \u201can aggressive form of brain cancer.\u201d <span class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>The fundraiser\u2019s description included a photo of the punk legend smiling at the hospital while showing a gnarly brain surgery scar.<\/p>\n<p>While Finch initially thought \u201ctreatment, including a full course of radiation, would get her back to some version of normal living,\u201d she has experienced \u201ca string of difficult setbacks\u201d and \u201csignificant physical limitations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Her loved ones added, \u201cThe level of care Jennifer needs has gone beyond what friends and family can safely provide around the clock.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>She \u201cmay have more good days the \u201cdifficult reality\u201d of Finch\u2019s condition, adding, \u201cWe are asking for help to make the time she has with her friends, family, and fans as comfortable, meaningful, and full of love as possible.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe cost of giving Jennifer the care she needs is overwhelming, but it\u2019s what gives her the best chance for meaningful improvement while maintaining as much comfort, dignity, and independence as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A slew of A-listers have donated to Finch\u2019s cancer battle, including \u201cYellowjackets\u201d star Melanie Lynskey.<\/p>\n<figure subsequently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/Day1NVNgyfE\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shared a gushing statement via Instagram<\/a>, writing, \u201ce are overwhelmed and thankful for the love, generosity and support that has come in for our friend and bandmate Jennifer Finch from all over the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Finch, who <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/09\/12\/celebrity-news\/dave-grohls-ex-jennifer-finch-defends-him-following-cheating-secret-baby-bombshell\/\">dated Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl<\/a> in the early 1990s, was a founding L7 member in 1986.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>She was set to join her bandmates (pictured above in
