He was also the art director for his older sister\u2019s \u201cBlonde Ambition\u201d world tour in the early \u201990s.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>The singer worked on the album when her brother, Christopher, died.  <span class=\"credit\">Los Angeles Times via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Christopher (pictured above in 2008) died in 2024, at the age of 63. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>He later became the tour director for the pop star\u2019s fourth concert tour, \u201cThe Girlie Show,\u201d in 1993.<\/p>\n<p>However, their relationship took a hit in 2008 when Christopher <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2008\/06\/12\/oh-brother-a-madge-tell-all\/\">trashed his sibling in his memoir,<\/a> \u201cLife With My Sister Madonna.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>They reconciled before Christopher\u2019s death after he reached out for help, which she discussed on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=zUvRv5JrItk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jay Shetty\u2019s podcast in 2025.<\/a><\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>A source told Page Six that Madonna turned \u201cmourning into music.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">madonna\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>They added that Madonna (seen above performing in Times Square in June) is feeling \u201cmore reflective.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">Michael Nigro for NY Post<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cAnd me having that moment like, \u2018Am I going to help my enemy?\u2019 And I just did,\u201d she shared. \u201cAnd I felt so relieved. And it was such a load off my back, such a weight that was removed, baggage that I could put down to finally be able to be in a room with him and holding his hand even if he was dying and saying, \u2018I love you, and I forgive you.\u2019 That was really important.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She was intubated for at least one night and later said it was a <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2023\/12\/17\/entertainment\/madonna-says-its-a-fking-miracle-shes-alive-after-health-scare\/\">\u201cf\u2013king miracle\u201d she was alive.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/06\/22\/celebrity-news\/madonna-reveals-why-biopic-starring-julia-garner-was-scrapped\/\">Working on the script for her biopic<\/a>, the<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2023\/01\/17\/madonna-announces-celebration-tour-spanning-40-year-career\/\"> \u2018Celebration\u2019 tour<\/a> and her health scare have led her to be much more reflective than usual,\u201d the source explained. \u201cShe really understands what an incredible life and career she continues to have.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>\u201cWords cannot express how Grateful and Surprised I am,\u201d she wrote in an Instagram post this week. <span class=\"credit\">Matthew Rettenmund \/ SplashNews.com<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Madonna will be appearing at the FIFA World Cup final. <span class=\"credit\">madonna\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Grammy winner said as much in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DaviSfukXg3\/?img_index=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recent Instagram post <\/a>to thank fans for their support.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWords cannot express how Grateful and Surprised I am,\u201d she wrote. \u201cThe Goodwill and positivity has been incredible. I\u2019m still pinching myself. \u2026 My dream was to make people dance this summer!! To bring people JOY! Dreams do come true.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The source added that the \u201cEvita\u201d star had a \u201cvision\u201d for this album and \u201cnever wavered\u201d from its execution.
