Police say the child’s Turkish Cypriot father snatched the two-year-old from his British mother’s home in Limassol, Cyprus, after illegally crossing from the north

A British toddler has reportedly been kidnapped by his father in Cyprus.

According to local police, the 29-year-old Turkish Cypriot man snatched the two-year-old child from his British mother’s home in the holiday hotspot of Limassol after illegally crossing from the north.

The dad is said to have stormed the house with an accomplice before grabbing the child and fleeing the scene in a small white car.

A manhunt is now underway to trace him, with police having already carried out a search on the getaway vehicle.
