A 42-year-old man has been taken to hospital for treatment as three others have been arrested following the incident on Durar Drive and Ardshiel Avenue

An Edinburgh street has reportedly been left “covered in blood” following a suspected crossbow attack.

The incident, on Durar Drive and Ardshiel Avenue in Clermiston, took place at 8am today. A 42-year-old man was found injured and required hospital treatment.

Three others aged 32, 34 and 60 have been arrested.
