London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended but the boy was pronounced dead at the scene in Battersea – this is a breaking story

A 17-year-old boy has died following a stabbing in London as police have launched a murder investigation.

Officers were called to reports of a stabbing on Glycena Road, Battersea, at around 4.20am on Saturday, June 20.

The 17-year-old was found by paramedics with serious injuries and, despite their best efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A large crime scene remains in place, Met Police said.
