Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan’s daughter Everly looked all grown up as she rang in her 13th birthday on Sunday.
Dewan posted a touching tribute for her eldest child’s milestone birthday via Instagram Sunday. In the first snap of the mother-daughter duo cuddling up for a photo at the beachside bash, Everly stood taller than her mom.
“To my Evie… 13 🤯 I keep staring at that number wondering how it’s possible,” Dewan began in the caption. The Instagram carousel also included many adorable shots of Everly as she grew up.
“It feels like yesterday I was rocking you to sleep, and somehow now I’m looking at this incredible young woman standing in front of me.”
The “Step Up” actress gushed over how “how creative and brilliant” Everly is, as well as her daughter’s “beautiful heart.”
“The way you care so deeply. The way you root for people…! (Me included😅) The empathetic way you notice the person sitting alone and needing some support, the animal that needs love, the friend who is having hard time. Your empathy is one of the greatest gifts 🥹,” Dewan continued.
“You have always been beautifully, wonderfully yourself. Your imagination, your humor, your unique magic forever.”
The mom of three applauded Everly for being “exactly who you are” and assured her, “You never have to earn my love” or “be perfect.”
“Thank you for making me a mom. Thank you for finding me again in this life and bringing your light into this family. You are my soul. Thank you for being my bestie🥹 Happy Birthday my sweet girl!!!!! I love you more than i could ever express,” she concluded.
The “Rookie” star also posted more pics of her daughter’s lavish party to her Instagram Stories, which showed the teenager surrounded by her friends and blowing out birthday candles in a pink bikini.
Her fiancé Steve Kazee and their two kids — son Callum, 6, and daughter Rhiannon, 1 — were also in attendance.
Dewan, 45, and Tatum, 46, welcomed Everly in May 2013 after four years of marriage. However, the couple ended up splitting in 2018.
The exes finalized their divorce in September 2024 and agreed to joint legal and physical custody of Everly, and to privately meet with a judge if there were conflicts over child support.
Despite their years-long legal battle, the “Magic Mike” actor revealed that he and Dewan “are good now” in a September 2025 interview with Variety.
Dewan has been engaged to Kazee since 2020, while Tatum is currently dating model Inka Williams, 26.
