Glam ex-laywer and mum Kerry Stevens, 40, is enjoying life in Paris despite being charged with 11 counts of leaving without payment and one count of theft from a shop in 2024

A glam former lawyer known for her alleged dine-and-dash exploits has posted pictures of herself enjoying life abroad despite being wanted by cops.

There are four arrest warrants for Kerry Stevens, 40, who is believed to be living in the Lorraine area of northwest France with a family member. An ex-lawyer, Stevens was struck off after she was convicted of failing to pay a £60 bill at a Harvester.

The solicitor recently posted an image on her Facebook page of her enjoying life at Disneyland Paris complete with Mickey Mouse ears and a bubble wand. The mum-of-one, previously of Southend, failed to appear before the courts even though her family begged her to stay, according to a family friend who spoke to the Mail.

“The police came looking for her again and her mum had to tell them she’d gone,” they said.

Police have said Stevens has links to Shoebury and Westcliff in Essex. Stevens was charged with 11 counts of leaving without payment and one count of theft from a shop in 2024. She is due to face trial next year and denies the offences.

Daniel Alani, her alleged partner in crime, were first investigated by police in connection with a dine-and-dash incident at The Castle Inn, Little Wakering, Essex. The pair allegedly didn’t bother to pay for their prawn cocktail, two roast chicken dinners with extra lamb, breaded mushrooms, orange juice, glass of pinot wine and two cokes.

Landlord, Ken Todd, said previously: “For the sake of £62, if they came in and were starving I’d just give them the food. The man tried to leave through the back door of the pub, which I had already locked and apparently the woman tried to escape by the bathroom window.

Stevens and Alani, both previously of the Southend area, were first named locally after allegedly targeting restaurants and taxi firms. The pair are accused of attempting to leave without paying bills and cab fares.

The pair also tried to flee without paying a £127 bill at the Steve Yeung at The Pearl Dragon restaurant in Southend said. Their mammoth meal allegedly included four starters and main courses and eight soft drinks.

Alani pleaded guilty to theft and theft from a shop, as well as eight counts of leaving without payment earlier this year.
