Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are set to tie the knot in one of the most highly anticipated celebrity weddings of all time.
The pop star and the NFL athlete announced their engagement on Aug. 26, 2025, after two years of dating. Since then, fans have been clamoring to know everything from who Swift’s bridesmaids will be, to which celebs made the guest list, where the couple will say “I do” and more.
Read on for everything we know about Swift and Kelce’s wedding — so far! — ahead of their big day.
The choice comes as no surprise, however, as the Fourth of July is famously one of Swift’s favorite holidays. The “Style” singer has thrown lavish parties for her celeb pals to celebrate the patriotic holiday in the past, with previous guests including Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Ed Sheeran, Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez and more.
Insiders told us that Los Angeles-based celebrity wedding planner Mark Seed has been working on the details for Swift and Kelce’s MSG wedding “for months.”
Tellingly, the 20,000-seat arena has no events on its calendar from June 29, 2026, through July 6, 2026.
Swift and Kelce’s wedding is sure to be a star-studded affair, given the singer’s A-list friends.
Another longtime Swift pal that has secured an invite is Ed Sheeran and his wife, Cherry Seaborn.
“To this day no one knows exactly who attended Ed Sheeran’s wedding, and that’s the model for this one,” the source said. “Total secrecy.”
TMZ reported that singer Sombr — who Swift has publicly praised — is attending as well.
More celebs invited to the wedding reportedly include the Haim sisters, Hadid, Gomez and her husband, Benny Blanco, as well as Cara Delevingne. Hadid and Gomez will reportedly also serve as bridesmaids.
Suki Waterhouse — who opened for Swift’s Eras Tour in London — also revealed she got an invite, telling Variety in May 2026 that she hopes to be inspired with ideas for her own wedding to her longtime partner, Robert Pattinson.
“I’m gonna go to Taylor’s wedding, and maybe I’ll get some inspiration,” she said. “It will be amazing.”
As for Kelce’s side, his Kansas City Chiefs coach, Andy Reid, is coming. In June 2026, Reid got his tux fitted for the occasion by local shop Peters Clothiers.
That same month, Kelce appeared to have a bachelor party weekend, which provided even more clues as to who else is presumably getting invites. The athlete partied with close pals including Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, former Kansas City Chiefs teammate Ross Travis and comedian Druski.
Ahead of the couple’s July 3, 2026, nuptials at Madison Square Garden, City Hall confirmed to The Post on June 24, 2026, that a permit application was filed with the city’s Street Activity Permit Office for July 2 to July 4, 2026.
The permit, filed by Winick Productions, asked for street closures around MSG and for a public tent to be set up outside the venue, which will include 500 to 999 attendees.
A person familiar with the event told The Post that trucks will most likely use 33rd St. to load and unload.
NYC will have to prepare for a multi-day event, as Swift and Kelce are holding two gatherings, The Post confirmed. The couple will host an intimate celebration at MSG on July 2 with an estimated 100 loved ones in attendance, a source revealed.
“I’ve heard Taylor invited so many people it’s going to be bigger than the Met Gala,” one industry insider added at the time.
Back in October 2025, Swift also joked that it would be “hard” to keep her longtime pal Ed Sheeran off the stage during her special day.
When Swift was asked directly if Sheeran was performing at her wedding during her appearance on “Capital FM Breakfast Show,” she predicted he could bring “energy” to her nuptials.
“He’s like, ‘I’m always being asked to sing at weddings,’” she said. “It’s like, ‘Ed, if there’s a stage, you know that you’ll be on it.’ He knows what people want, and he wants to give people what they want.”
“That’s the fun thing about our friendship is we both love performing, we love writing and we love singing,” Swift added. “We’re like, ‘Oh, don’t make me sing! All right!’”
“When she walks down the aisle, it’s going to be something that is an amazing, timeless gown,” Silver told us.
Kleinfeld Bridal stylist Morgan McCullough also pointed out that Swift previously wore a bridal design in her “I Bet You Think About Me” music video back in 2021, which could be reflective of what she’ll wear on her big day.
“I always think back to her ‘I Bet You Think About Me’ music video where she wore one of our Kleinfeld designers, Nicole + Felicia. They made two dresses with a cascading floral design: a white wedding gown and a version in red,” McCullough noted.
“I think about that dress a lot for Taylor in her bridal era — something soft and whimsical, feminine, but very classic as well. I really think that’s what she’ll do,” she contnued.
