Hilaria Baldwin revealed the secret to her long-running, successful marriage with Alec Baldwin.

“We just let each other be, and I think that’s one of the reasons our relationship has gone on as long as it has, because we are polar opposites and so different,” the yoga instructor told the Daily Mail in an interview published Friday.

Hilaria, 42, also shared that regular date nights play a part in keeping the flame alive. “We take a lot of time for date nights,” she told the outlet.

“We’ve been traveling a lot for work recently but we try to have a lot of date nights.”

A date night for the “Dancing With the Stars” alum, 42, and “30 Rock” star, 68, “usually involves dinner,” the mom of seven divulged.

“He loves a good dinner, we either go out or I cook and we usually end up chatting and catching each other up on our seven kids and our projects.”

As for the much-discussed decades-long chasm of years between the two, Hilaria poked fun at the dynamic.

“Take a 27-year-old yoga instructor married to a rich and famous older man – it sounds ridiculous. It sounds like a bad ‘SNL’ sketch,” she quipped.

“It worked out luckily, but we poke fun at each other in our family all the time,” Hilaria added. “I think people expect that Alec wanted somebody he could boss around, and we’re on the same level together.”

Their marriage, however, hasn’t been without its stressors. Since they tied the knot in a lavish church ceremony in 2012, they’ve welcomed no fewer than seven children.

“There’s been so much chaos in our lives, so much of it wonderful, some horrible things but we’ve managed to figure it out,” she said.

Alec, meanwhile, gushed over his wife, calling her a “very special person.”

“When I met her, she was unknown; she wasn’t a famous person,” the “Beetlejuice” actor continued. “She was a hard worker and I really admired that. She’s beautiful beyond measure, inside and out.”

Alec — who shares kids Carmen, 12, Rafael, 10, Leonardo, 9, Romeo, 8, Eduardo, 5, Maria Lucia, 5, and Ilaria, 3, with Hilaria — said his best moments are spent at home with his family.

“For me, I don’t want to leave my home anymore,” he told the outlet, despite confessing that he also loves “to go to work.”

“I want to stay home and do nothing and be with the kids.”

Alec — who also shares daughter Ireland, 30, with ex-wife Kim Basinger, 72 — sometimes pokes fun at his marriage to Hilaria via social media with humorous videos.

Hilaria, meanwhile, has addressed their marriage — and accompanying age gap — in several candid interviews.

“There are certain things where I have to look at him and say, ‘He has 26 more years of experience,’” she said during a November episode of the “Uncut and Uncensored” podcast.

“And sometimes that’s a flex, and sometimes that means that we need to do a little therapy.”
