Jenny Mollen revealed she felt tossed aside early on in her marriage to Jason Biggs.

“When I got together with Jason, I always had a chip on my shoulder in the beginning because I felt like suddenly I went from being the oldest daughter and I felt like I had my s–t together and then suddenly, I married this guy who in a lot of ways — career wise — totally eclipsed me,” the actress expressed on the “What Matters With Liz” podcast.

While the episode was released on Wednesday, it was recorded before their split — which was announced several weeks ago, after 18 years of marriage.

“And it drove me crazy to always just be, like, brushed to the side,” Mollen added.

The mom of two teased that she felt like Prince Harry, whose memoir “Spare,” detailed being the second child in the royal family and that complicated dynamic.

“To be the spare and not the heir,” Mollen continued. “It was like, ‘What is happening?’ I was the spare. I was the ‘American Pie’ spare. I relate to Harry. That drove me mad and I always had this feeling.”

The “Amateur Night” star noted that between growing up with “two narcissist parents” and tying the knot with Biggs, who was “wildly more famous” than her, there was no structure.

“[I felt] that nobody was listening to what I was doing anyway,” Mollen admitted. “I could get away with saying whatever the f–k I wanted.”

Meanwhile, last week, the “Cattle Call” actress posted a Substack essay detailing her struggle to feel worth and validated.

“The highest highs of my life have all hit like pennies disappearing into a bottomless well. I’d wait — maybe a moment or two for the sound of something landing, but before it ever did, I was on to the next,” she penned.

Earlier this month, a spokesperson for Mollen and Biggs confirmed their split, stating that the two were on great terms and focused on raising their sons, Lazlo, 8, and Sid, 12.

Rumors of a breakup had been circulating for the past nine months.

However, a source told People that despite parting ways romantically, the exes spent the actor’s 48th birthday together in early May.

“They are very much connected,” the insider shared. “I have no doubt that they will remain on excellent terms.”
