Jenny Mollen was slammed on social media after posting “cringe” photos of herself laying on top of her eldest son in bed.
In the recent Instagram post, the actress is pictured in between her 12-year-old son Sid’s legs, holding him in her arms with her hands caressing the back of his head.
The caption — that has since been removed — read, “Your eldest son will be the most toxic guy you ever date.”
Mollen posted the same snaps to her Facebook page and also featured audio from Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s song “03 Bonnie & Clyde,” per TMZ — but that post has been removed entirely.
Despite deleting the caption, the post still got ripped to shreds by angry and concerned Instagram users.
“Saw the original post with the original caption. 😳 Super weird. And I have boys the same age. And yes we hug and cuddle but that caption was creepy AF,” one wrote.
“I hug my son. I DON’T LAY groin to groin with him. Weird. Block,” another user added.
“I think if perhaps people knew your relationship personally they would be like, ‘Oh that’s just Jenny and her kid!!’ But from an outsiders perspective the intimate pose is a bit cringe for an almost teenager,” a more sympathetic user pointed out.
Others questioned “who even took these pictures” and labeled her “a CERTAIN type of boy mom.”
However, a source close to Mollen told TMZ, “The picture is nothing more than a mother hugging her 12-year-old son. Any one inferring anything else should be ashamed of themselves.”
The insider attributed her controversial caption to the mom of two being a comedian.
The writer shares Sid as well as 8-year-old son Lazlo with estranged husband, Jason Biggs.
Biggs, 48, and Mollen, 46, first crossed paths while working on the Howard Deutch-directed film “My Best Friend’s Girl” in 2007.
They were engaged by January 2008 and eloped that April.
Biggs and Mollen welcomed Sid in 2014, followed by Lazlo in 2017.
