Bushnell and the “Californication” actress previously welcomed their first child, a son, back in 2020. He was age 4 at the time of the filing.

The documents also revealed that a second child — a daughter named Fiona — was born to the former couple.

The documents noted that the child was 1 year old at the time of the filing, and that both parents share decision making on matters including schooling, healthcare and extracurricular activities.

According to the filing, the actress — who was ultimately granted primary custody of their children, with Bushnell gaining custody of their son each weekend, and eventually having weekend custody of their daughter when she reached the age of 3 and a half — was granted her maiden name back in the finalized divorce, dated Aug. 13, 2025.

The co-parents agreed to split holidays as well, with Grace being given the option to spend some weekends with her children, and Bushnell having the option to request that his ex-wife care for their children during his parenting time in the event that he’s out of town for work.

Grace and Bushnell became engaged back in February 2017, with the “Suits LA” star taking to Instagram to share the news.

“The strongest and sweetest songs yet remain to be sung (Whitman),” she captioned a romantic photo of them in a canoe.

At the time, she also uploaded a pic of him at the Los Angeles Women’s March, writing alongside the snapshot, “WHAT A MAN #StrongMenSupportStrong.”

Prior to her marriage to Bushnell, Grace was engaged to filmmaker Matthew Cooke — in 2015, she showed off an engagement ring from him at the Global Green USA pre-Oscar party.
