Melissa Rein Lively, 40, grabbed a woman’s hair at Bond Street Underground station and tugged it in a ‘forceful manner’ after the pair got into an alleged row over a pushchair
An American MAGA influencer has admitted assaulting a woman at a Tube station after what prosecutors say was a row over a pushchair.
Melissa Rein Lively, 40, pulled the woman’s hair in a “forceful manner” at Bond Street Underground station last October after her boyfriend allegedly stumbled into a pushchair carrying a child.
Rein Lively accepted a conditional caution and the assault by beating charge against her was withdrawn, Westminster Magistrates’ Court was told.
Prosecutor Lyndon Harris told the court: “Ms Lively has accepted a conditional caution in response to the allegation against her.
“That involved an admission to the conduct alleged against her and acknowledgement it amounts to an offence, and she has agreed to pay £910 in compensation.”
The CPS said it had received confirmation that Rein Lively had paid compensation to the victim on Tuesday afternoon.
