Per the outlet, Honey Trap will have a first-look deal with Sony Pictures. Sweeney’s longtime collaborator Kaylee McGregor will serve as president of production and development at the company.

The “Housemaid” star, 28, is reportedly already working with Sony on the TriStar Pictures remake of “Barbarella,” based on Jean-Claude Forest’s French comic book series that was made into the 1968 film starring Jane Fonda.

Sweeney is also slated to produce and star in “The Registration,” a psychological thriller film adaptation of Madison Lawson’s novel.

The Emmy nominee’s news came a day after the Season 3 finale of “Euphoria” aired on HBO Max.

During the third and final season, Sweeney’s character, Cassie Howard, starred as an OnlyFans model and filmed a slew of raunchy scenes.

Though the “Immaculate” star’s role sparked backlash this season, especially when she dressed up as a baby, “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson defended the storyline.

“What we wanted to always find is the other layer of absurdity that we’re able to tie into it so that we’re not too inside of her fantasy or illusion — the gag is to jump out, to break the wall,” he told the Hollywood Reporter in April.
