This new sports romance is scoring major points with the internet.
Prime Video’s “Off Campus” has several scenes hot enough to melt a hockey arena — something costume designer Charlene Akuamoah didn’t shy away from when curating the characters’ looks.
While she’s been surprised by the fanfare over a few outfits — including Garrett’s (Belmont Cameli) “gray sweatpants look” — she especially loves seeing women identify with Hannah (Ella Bright) and Allie’s (Mika Abdalla) closets, right down to their supportive yet stylish undergarments.
“Once I read the script and knew we were going to be seeing these gorgeous girls shirtless or with cleavage, I wanted to ensure the bras looked beautiful, but also truly fit each character’s aesthetic,” the costume pro told us.
“It’s thrilling to know their looks are making young women feel more confident.”
Given TikTok is flooded with fans attempting to identify the stars’ lingerie — as is Akuamoah’s Instagram comments section — we’ve rounded up several exact (and similar) styles still available to shop below. But given how quickly some features styles sold out following the show’s debut, we’d recommend snapping them up fast.
Dreaming about the look from this imaginary love scene? Hannah wears a Simone Pérèle Intrigue Sheer Demi Bra while fantasizing about Justin (Josh Heuston). It comes in sizes 30A to 38F, in a total of six lace colors.
“Lingerie and undergarments are the foundation of every look,” Akuamoah said. “When a girl masters this, she masters dressing her body.”
Forget LBDs; Hannah’s closet includes plenty of LBBs (little black bras). She wears Simone Pérèle again in Episode 3, this time opting for a more full-coverage lace look. (Like the first, it comes in a very inclusive size range.)
“For Hannah, we kept it a bit more simple and would introduce pops of a color where it made sense, a nod to her colorfulness in the book,” Akuamoah explained.
For Allie’s undergarments, the costume pro “added a little bit more style and played with shapes and sheerness to lean into her sexiness.”
While the “so good” Livy bra the character wore for a key scene is sadly sold out, US shoppers can find several of the the French brand’s lacy styles in stock at Bergdorf Goodman.
Checkmate, indeed! Allie also wears the (sadly sold-out) black version of this pretty sheer Bluebella bra while playing a steamy game of chess with Dean (Stephen Kalyn).
“It was really important to make sure that the bras they wore fit them well,” Akuamoah told us. “The right band size and cup makes a world of difference whether it’s under a shirt or on its own.”
When it comes to finding your own perfect fit, she recommends knowing your sister size (i.e. if you go up a cup size, go down a band size), in addition to your actual size.
“I’d really advise everyone to take the time to learn your true bra size and know that it can fluctuate,” Akuamoah added.
Allie’s style brings the drama in more ways than one. While participating in a “Drunk Shakespeare” performance, she wears the bright blue version of the Mesh Bustier Bodysuit from Khloé Kardashian’s Good American brand.
