Jack Whitehall and Roxy Horner are set to marry today in a lavish £250,000 bash held at Euridge Manor in Wiltshire.
The stunning 17th century venue, which is sprawled across 450 acres, boasts a boating lake, an orangery, a helicopter pad, a pergola draped in wisteria and a ballroom.
The venue – owned by John Robinson, the multi-millionaire owner of fashion brand Jigsaw – is known “for its discretion, architectural character, and secluded setting” and is offered on an exclusive-use basis.
Amongst those attending the nuptials are VIP guests James Corden and Jamie Redknapp. They’ll no doubt be suited and booted to tie in with the wedding’s black tie theme, with Jack sporting a tuxedo with Christian Louboutin shoes.
As for Roxy, it’s thought the model – with whom Jack shares a daughter, Elsie – will wear one dress for the ceremony, and another for the afterparty. She was previously seen having her final fittings in Mayfair bridal stop Galia Lahav.
Spotted twirling around in a number of gowns at the designer boutique, Roxy, who has been dating Jack since 2020, looked particularly elegant in a gorgeous ivory strapless silk number. At one point, Roxy appeared to a wipe tear from her face as she had her veil fitted.
On Wednesday, preparations for the nuptials were in full-swing as Roxy and Jack kissed each other goodbye before the model’s chosen wedding dress was seen being carried out to the car.
Seen holding hands before they became Mr and Mrs, the couple embraced outside their home before their big day.
And while Jack is used to being in the spotlight, sources say the comedian is super nervous – especially about his groom’s speech.
“Forget the nerves that came with hosting the BRIT Awards, this is so much more tense,’ a friend told Mail Online. “He’s so very excited and has been looking forward to the day but it’s a big moment.
“He has hosted some of the biggest shows in showbiz, last week it was Saturday Night Live, but standing up to make a groom’s speech is much more daunting.”
It’ll be the first time Jack’s family meets Roxy’s nearest and dearest. Jack previously revealed the big day would be ‘Downton Abbey meets EastEnders’.
Talking on the Jonathan Ross Show, he said: “My family are gilet-wearing chinless toffs, and her family are proper Cockney, all West Ham fans, proper salt of the earth.
“It’s the first time our families are ever coming together. I’ve met her family, but my family have not met her family.”
According to The Sun, guests will stay in an exclusive five-star hotel nearby while the newlyweds will stay on site with their families. The ceremony is reportedly scheduled for the afternoon and in the evening “they will have a band and then a night of dancing”.
A source told the publication: “Jack’s brother Barney is his best man while Jack and Roxie’s daughter Elsie is a flower girl. It’s a very family orientated occasion. They are both so excited.”
Jack previously hinted that his brother will get his “revenge” in his best man speech after Jack took a few “low blows” at his sibling’s own wedding.
He told The Sun: “I gave quite a savage speech at his wedding. There were a few low blows he wasn’t too appreciative of. He’s going to have his opportunity to get his revenge on the big day. I’m bracing myself for that.”
Two weeks ago, Roxy kicked off her wedding celebrations when she partied up a storm in London for her hen do. She was joined by Jack’s mum, Hilary, at the lavish bash at which the women dined at a top London hotspot, enjoyed a private dance lesson from a Strictly star and was even treated to a lap dance from a Magic Mike stripper.
Jack’s mum Hilary was left fuming when her son gave her the wrong dress code, leaving her with no option but to hunt for another dress with just weeks to go before the big day.
She told the Daily Mail : “When I asked Jack what the dress code was several weeks ago… he gave me the wrong dress code. I got the wrong dress, [then] the wedding invitation arrived with a completely different dress code on it. [Jack] said, ‘Sorry about that, Mumsy’.”
