Argos currently has a 20% off deal available with a discount code

Bargain hunters have spotted a rare deal on a popular tablet in the Argos secret sale, with shoppers praising its ‘crisp display with vibrant colours’. The Lenovo Idea Tab has seen its price drop to £135.99 from £209.99 with the code ‘RED20’, making it a tempting option for students and everyday users looking for a powerful device without the premium price tag.

The Lenovo Idea Tab has a large 11-inch screen that makes everything look clear and bright, whether shoppers are reading, watching videos or scrolling online. It also has good quality speakers, so there is no need for headphones to enjoy films or music.

One of its standout features is how easy it is to use. Shoppers can search for things on their screen just by circling them with their finger, and it can even help take notes by tidying them up or pulling out key points. It also comes with a pen, which is useful for writing, drawing or highlighting.

The battery lasts up to 14 hours. It is worth noting that while it comes with a charging cable, shoppers will need to use their own plug.

Currys also has the Acer Tablet for £119, down from £179, on its website. This one has 64GB of storage, a battery life of up to 11 hours and a full HD screen. Apple then has the iPad Pro from £999 on its website, which has a 12MP wide camera, 4K video and supports both Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard.

The Lenovo Idea Tab has been rated highly on Argos. One person said: “The tablet has a good, crisp display with vibrant colours. It performs very well for everyday tasks like using messaging apps, watching movies, and browsing the internet, with no lag, buttery smooth transitions, and a decent battery life.”

Another said: “I bought this four months ago for my daughter. She loves it.” A third person commented: “Nice tablet, good sound and nice display.”

A handful of others disagreed slightly as one said: “Meets all my expectations. Would have been five stars but there’s no easy way to back up files on local storage to the cloud. Much higher spec, especially for file transfer using a USBC cable, which many budget tablets don’t allow.”

Another added: “Good for price, battery OK, display nice, it doesn’t take hours to charge.”

The Lenovo Idea Tab is available from Argos. Prices are correct at the time of writing.
