There was a time when everything clicked the moment Sadio Mane got the ball in a Liverpool FC shirt.

Direct runs. Big goals. Big moments.

That version of Mane is still what many fans remember first.

His rise was steady.

He left Génération Foot for Metz, then exploded at Red Bull Salzburg with goals and trophies.

At Southampton, he made headlines with the fastest hat-trick in Premier League history.

Then came his peak years at Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp.

Alongside Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, he helped deliver the Premier League and UEFA Champions League.

He also picked up major individual honours, including the Premier League Golden Boot and two African Player of the Year awards.

A short spell at Bayern Munich followed before he moved to Al-Nassr in 2023, inspired by a chance to play alonside Cristiano Ronaldo.

Since then, he has stayed productive.

In 119 appearances, he has recorded 47 goals and 32 assists.

Even now, he remains a reliable attacker.

Now, his future looks uncertain again. Turkish side Beşiktaş J.K. have reportedly stepped in with intent.

According to a report from Sporx, the club has already made contact and submitted a formal proposal.

The report states, “As Beşiktaş , under the management of Sergen Yalçın, begins transfer negotiations for next season, rumors have emerged linking them to Sadio Mane.”

“It’s reported that the Black and Whites want to sign the Senegalese left winger, who currently plays for Al Nassr.”

“A bid has been made for Sadio Mane.”

This is not their first attempt.

Beşiktaş tried to sign him twice in the past year.

Now they are pushing again as they look to compete better in Europe.

At Al-Nassr, Mane still plays a key role alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.

But the club is already preparing for a future without him.

His contract is running down.

is value has dropped to around €7 million.

For Beşiktaş, this is a chance they cannot ignore.

From a Liverpool fan’s view, this feels familiar.
