A Nigerian woman identified as Rose has reportedly lost her sanity following allegations that she confessed to being responsible for the death of her friend, Mngusuur Gloria Pever.
The claim was made public by the deceased’s brother, Gabriel Pever, who linked Rose’s current condition to what he described as a confession concerning his sister’s death.
Gloria, said to be from Benue State, reportedly died on Valentine’s Day in 2024. In a social media post shared on April 30, 2026, Gabriel alleged that his sister was poisoned and suggested that recent developments point to accountability for her death.
In the statement, he expressed emotional relief over what he described as a form of justice, while maintaining that he had chosen not to seek revenge in line with his sister’s wishes.
Reactions to the post included comments from individuals who claimed to have known Gloria and her relationship with the accused. One of them, identified as Jimmy Ahula, said he had previously tried to create distance between Gloria and Rose but was unsuccessful.
According to him, there had been past concerns about the nature of Rose’s influence over the deceased, though no official findings have been made public regarding the allegations.
