


Former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has arrived in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, ahead of the National Summit of Opposition Political Party Leaders.
The former presidential candidate announced his arrival in a post on his official 𝕏 account on Saturday, expressing optimism about the engagements scheduled for the gathering.

The summit is being hosted by Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, and is expected to bring together key opposition figures from across the country to deliberate on national political issues.
Kwankwaso said he was looking forward to meaningful discussions with other national leaders at the event.
In his post, he noted that he was excited to be in Ibadan for the meeting, describing the summit as an opportunity for constructive engagement among opposition stakeholders.
Growing political presence
The event has also attracted other prominent politicians, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi, who are already in the city for the summit.
The gathering is expected to continue with discussions aimed at strengthening collaboration among opposition parties ahead of future elections.
