After trying out several career paths, Brooklyn Beckham is venturing into a new business, following his estranged mother’s footsteps by expanding his hot sauce business into a new field

Brooklyn Beckham is trying out a new career – and this one follows in the footsteps of his estranged mother Victoria Beckham. Debuting his latest venture on Instagram, the eldest Beckham child revealed a fragrance and bath bubble collection.

Brooklyn posted pics of Cloud23 Body, a body care line that included a bubble bath, perfume and body oil. Among the pics, he included comments from fans that told him the bottles his hot sauce business used looked like bubble bath bottles and explained in the caption how these comments helped him expand Cloud23.

He wrote in the caption: “We listened to your feedback…it’s time to expand beyond the kitchen.. Introducing the Cloud23 Signature Body Care Line.

This new venture follows in the footsteps of Brooklyn’s mother Victoria, who he publicly broke ties with in a scathing statement. Victoria also has a series of perfumes and a body oil available to buy on her website. Her signature scent, Portofino ’97, is described as a “seductive scent” and she turned it into a Golden Shimmer body oil.

Brooklyn did not explicitly say that the body care line was a joke, but it was posted on April 1st and “available for 24 hours only”, meaning it was limited to April Fools. Fans caught on in the comments, with many commenting laughing emojis. One also commented: “April fooled”.

Back in January, Brooklyn posted a six page statement to Instagram in which he said he would never reconcile with his family. He accused his mother of trying to “hijack” his first dance and added that his family prioritised public perception over love, and pushed their children to do things at the expense of their personal business opportunities. Since then, Brooklyn has not acknowledged his family online, and has their social media accounts blocked.

Over the years, Brooklyn has tried his hand at many careers. As a teenager, he attempted to emulate his father by becoming a professional athlete. Like his father David Beckham, Brooklyn seemed to show promise at football. He spent some time in youth academies, including Arsenal’s U-18 team, but did not graduate to the professional ranks.

He has also been an amateur photographer. In 2017, he released a photography book called What I See. This included a series of wildlife photos, including one of an elephant that was covered in darkness. He wrote underneath it: “So hard to photograph but incredible to see.”

One of his most publicised careers has been as a chef. Brooklyn’s love of cooking was started during the COVID 19 pandemic and he launched an online show called Cookin’ With Brooklyn. He has also appeared on US daytime television as a culinary personality and had a pop-up restaurant with Uber Eats for two nights in 2024. His passion for all things culinary led him to found Cloud 23, a hot sauce business. He also has a sake business called Wesake.

Four months ago, he also teamed up with Jaguar TCS Racing and Formula E to train as a a racing driver. Now he might be able to add comedian to his CV too, as the Cloud23 Body launch was an April Fools joke.
