The former UFC welterweight title challenger left Misfits earlier this week, but it did not take long for him to announce his next career move
Darren Till has penned a multi-fight deal with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) just days after announcing his Misfits departure.
The former UFC welterweight title challenger will make his promotional debut on May 30 at BKFC 90 in Birmingham, with an opponent to be confirmed. According to reports, his first outing under the BKFC banner – an organisation co-owned by Conor McGregor – will take place at 185lb.
“I am very pleased to be signing with the BKFC,” Till said. “It’s an amazing promotion! F*** everyone on this roster, I’m coming to be the face of violence. No one can beat me.”
While BKFC founder David Feldman added: “Darren and I have been talking and the timing is perfect for him to make his BKFC debut. I’ve watched Darren compete for the last few years and he’s a tremendous and exciting addition to our team.”

Tyson Fury has come out of retirement to face Russian boxer Arslanbek Makhmudov in a heavyweight clash in London on April 11. The fight will stream live on Netflix, which fans can get for free with Sky’s £15 Essential TV bundle or £24 Ultimate TV bundle, the latter of which also includes HBO Max and Disney+.
The Scouse scrapper left the UFC three years ago following defeats to Robert Whittaker, Derek Brunson and Dricus du Plessis. A change of heart was clearly on the Liverpudlian’s mind – who ended up transitioning over to the world of boxing.
Till made a brief appearance on the exhibition boxing scene back in 2024 – a win over Mohammad Mutie – before he signed with Misfits boxing. The 33-year-old impressed the boxing fraternity on his day after outclassing fan-favourite Anthony Taylor, knocking him out in the sixth round.
His second appearance in the Misfits ring came last May against fellow former UFC fighter Darren Stewart. Another dominant victory followed, before eventually being handed his toughest test yet in the shape of Luke Rockhold. However, Till saved his best performance for the ex-UFC middleweight champion after brutally knocking the American out in the third round. Following the three wins, Till had established himself as a one of the biggest names in the promotion, and had been destined for a big 2026 inside the squared-circle, but decided to go a different route.
