Goodison Park had been the Toffees faithful home for many an enthralling Merseyside Derby contest over the years, and Liverpool will be hoping they can get back to winning ways on the weekend, when they cross over enemy lines to face their arch rivals, once more.

Arne Slot‘s men need results in the Premier League desperately after crashing out of the Champions League at the quarter-final stages to Paris Saint-Germain, as Ousmane Dembele brace proved too tricky to contain, in a 2-0 defeat at Anfield.

David Moyes men are in a far better vein of form, at the moment, than their Merseyside counterparts, with three victories collected across their last five clashes, in all competitions, which included an emphatic 3-0 home win over Liam Rosenior’s Chelsea.

Everton have six wins under their belt on home soil this Premier League season, and they’ll hope to bump that number up to seven to rub salt into their arch rivals’ wounds.
