Chris Brown crashed out in an explicit rant on social media, and took a swipe at Zara Larsson, after his new album was slated.

Chris Brown lashed out at scathing reviews of his new album and took a swipe at Zara Larsson in a bizarre meltdown. The controversial singer released Brown last week, ahead of his upcoming joint tour with Usher.

However, the album didn’t go down well with some, and was branded as a “real piece of s**t” and “soulless” in a withering review, while fans described it as “lifeless horny bulls**t”.

Having none of it, the 37-year-old crashed out on social media in response to the reaction, vowing to “keep on putting my foot on their necks”.

“Team Breezy, I know people want me to get on here and, you know, say some sad s**t, but f**k that,” the With You singer said in a video on his Instagram story. “We kicking their ass, goddammit. We ain’t letting up.”

“I’m going to keep my foot on they neck and we ain’t stopping. You heard me? We doing this motherf**kin’ tour, more s**t to come. I’m not going to tell you what’s more to come, but it’s coming,” he continued, via E! News. “I don’t give a f**k what these n****s is talking about.

“I know exactly who my fans is and I know exactly who hearing this album. If you not my fan, I don’t want you to listen to my s**t.”

“Go listen to motherf**king Zara Larsson or somebody. F**k them,” he added in a dig at the Midnight Sun singer, who said he was an “abuser” in a recent interview with Cosmo.

In February, she touched on Brown’s past controversies, including his 2009 attack on then-girlfriend Rihanna, when he physically assaulted her in a vicious attack after the Grammys. He was later placed on probation for five years and sentenced to six months community service after the incident.

Last May, he was arrested in the UK and was charged with grievous bodily harm with intent following an alleged assault of music producer Amadou ‘Abe’ Diaw. He pleaded not guilty ahead of a trial later this year.

“There’s so many artists I have blocked on Spotify, and all of them are, like, abusers,” Larsson told the outlet of her music tastes. “You certainly wouldn’t find a Chris Brown song. Bye!”

Brown’s latest tirade comes after reactions poured in for his 12th album. In a particularly scathing review, Pitchfork gave it a score of 1.3, adding: “It’s soulless, hit-chasing music with nothing going for it if you aren’t personally invested in the Chris Brown culture wars.”

Despite this, he is still planning to take the album on the road as part of his tour with Usher, which kicks off next month in the US.
