The hit reality series saw 40 singletons on the hunt for love – but there was a huge twist

Streaming giant Netflix has shared a huge update for hit reality series Age of Attraction as fans say “clear my schedule”.

The social experiment brought together a group of singletons to a retreat in Canada hoping to find love, all aged between 22 and 60. However there was of course a major twist.

The singletons would not find out their partner’s age. Only when they are ready to make the commitment will they learn each other’s ages as the dating experiment sets out to prove age is just a number when it comes to romance.

Hosted by married couple Nick Viall, 45 and Natalie Joy, 27, whose own relationship blossomed despite a considerable age gap, the reality series became a huge hit with fans.

Now, Netflix has shared a huge update about the show’s future.

Will there be a Season 2 of Age of Attraction?

Despite only being released last month, Netflix confirmed this week that Age of Attraction would officially be returning for a second season with hosts Nick and Natalie.

Executive producers Jennifer O’Connell and Rebecca Quinn told Netflix’s Tudum: “We love concepts that are impossible to look away from, and Age of Attraction nailed that from day one.

“It’s messy, it’s real, and that’s what makes it fun to watch. Huge thanks to Netflix for embracing this dating experiment with us. The response has been incredible, and we’re excited to push it even further in Season 2.”

With Netflix taking to social media to share the news, one excited fan replied on X: “Yessss! Can’t wait for more drama, love, and vibes.”

Another wrote: “Can’t wait for Season 2! Age really is just a number when the chemistry hits right. Nick and Natalie hosting again? Perfect match. Who’s ready for more wild age-gap drama?”

A third commented: “Finally! I’ve been waiting for this announcement since the Season 1 cliffhanger. Clear my schedule, because I am ready to binge-watch this entire season in one day.” A fourth added: “Finally! Season 2 is exactly what I needed. Can’t wait!”

However, not everyone was impressed as many took to social media to demand news on the Steel Ball Run Anime instead. One person said: “And the Age of Steel Ball Run comes when?” Another added: “When is sbr coming back.”

Age of Attraction brought plenty of drama and chaos, with not every couple making it to the end of the show. Throughout it’s run last month, viewers branded the show as “cringe” but admitted they could not stop watching.

One viewer said on social media: “Anyone else unable to look away?” Another penned: “This #ageofattraction show is INSANE.”

A third simply said: “so cringe”, as a fourth added: “Yall we watching #ageofattraction these people are hilarious!! These gaps are wild !”

Sparking conversation across the world, it also remained in Netflix’s Top 10 in England since its release in March, also making the top 10 in 26 other countries. An official release date has yet to be announced but fans are likely to have a wait on their hands.
