Roberto Firmino and his wife, Larissa Firmino, are expecting their fifth child. The Liverpool favourite and his wife recently took to Instagram to share the news that the family is growing once more.

The former Liverpool striker earlier shared that their fifth child is expected to be a baby boy. Mrs. Firmino took to Instagram on Wednesday to post a series of pictures with her baby bump on display, captioning the post:

“I don’t know which pic is prettier… I just know that this is much more than one day I dreamed of.”

The professional journey that brought him to this point, however, has been anything but smooth.

After leaving Liverpool in the summer of 2023 following eight storied years at Anfield, Firmino joined Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli, where he captained the team and initially impressed.

That relationship soured in February 2025 when he was axed from Al-Ahli’s domestic squad registration following the club’s signing of Wenderson Galeno from Porto.

Yet in typical Bobby fashion, he refused to crumble. Restricted to AFC Champions League appearances only, he responded in the most emphatic way possible – delivering two assists in the final against Kawasaki Frontale last May, being named the tournament’s most valuable player, and ending in tears at full-time as Al-Ahli claimed their first-ever continental title.

“They take me out of the league and of course leave me in the Champions League. I don’t give up. I never give up,” he said afterwards.

With his Al-Ahli contract expired, Firmino made the move to Qatar in July 2025, signing a two-year deal with Al Sadd – the country’s most decorated club with 18 league titles to their name.

It proved to be a shrewd move for the Anfield favourite, with the 34-year-old has scoring 10 goals in 18 appearances placing, him second in Al Sadd’s scoring charts and ninth among all league forwards.

With baby boy on the way and a career renaissance in Qatar, the best days are far from over for Bobby Firmino
