Security operatives in Edo State have successfully rescued a 70-year-old man, Pa Jonah Owobu, who was abducted by suspected kidnappers in Uromi.
The victim was declared missing after he failed to return home from his farm, prompting his wife to report the incident to the police on April 21, 2026.
She later informed authorities that the family had been contacted by unknown persons who demanded a ransom of N30 million for his release.
