Sophie Kasaei has shared photos of her boyfriend Jordan Brook cradling her baby bump as he was able to return home for the family’s Easter celebration after 22 days in hospital
Sophie Kasaei has shared photos of an emotional Easter celebration for the family as boyfriend Jordan Brook finally returned home. The TOWIE star – who is expecting a baby with the Geordie Shore favourite – was rushed to hospital last month.
For weeks, doctors were struggling to find out what was wrong with Jordan, who was suffering from brain swelling, inflammation and also memory loss. He was later diagnosed with meningitis and encephalitis.
However, Jordan is now home and was able to spend Easter with his partner Sophie and in new snaps, he cradled her baby bump as they marked their big family reunion in time for the Bank Holiday.
Writing on Instagram, she shared: “Watching you walk out of those hospital doors felt like getting my whole world back. These past weeks have been the hardest I’ve ever known. But you never stopped fighting, not just for yourself, but for us for your family, for our little boy growing inside me.

Having JB home, hand on my bump, smiling again means more than words will ever be able to say. We are blessed, grateful, and whole again.” She concluded: “Happy Easter from us. Enjoy it with loved ones, sit back soak it up. Life is a precious gift.”
In the comment section of the post, Jordan vowed to walk the long road together. “Life really is a precious gift. It’s so good to be back where I belong again. Still a bit of a road but we’ll walk it together,” he added.
Just four days ago, Jordan revealed he was heading home from hospital after 22 days, where he had been diagnosed with “the worst case of viral meningitis and encephalitis that his doctor had ever seen”.
“Brain swelling, inflammation. Acute memory loss, The only memories I have are ones I would like to forget forever,” he said, before paying tribute to those around him including Sophie.
He wrote: “Firstly my @sophiekasaei_ you and my baby boy have held me up and kept me in this fight like you wouldn’t believe. You are my whole life and I love you unconditionally. I can’t wait to get in bed with you and start our future as a healthy family of 3.”
Elsewhere, he thanked the team at hospital who had saved his life. “To the Lister Ward at Basildon hospital. Drs and nurses and all staff who I feel have become a family to me. Thank you for every thing you have done for me I owe you so much,” he shared.
“Your compassion your warmth and total understanding at times when I was being extremely scared and hard work. You never turned your backs on me. Thank you for saving my life! You are a credit to the NHS, to humanity and amazing, kind, extremely hardworking people! To anyone else battling anything of this kind let this be your light – you can and will beat whatever you are going through.”
