A woman admitted she dug up her garden only to find an unlikely discovery underneath. She admitted the gardening experience changed her life forever, as it may now never be the same

It’s reached that time of year when many of us are doing work in the garden; however, sometimes we have to dig up our outdoor spaces to make them look a little better. One woman who did just that claims her life was changed forever though, as she made a totally unexpected discovery beneath her garden.

The woman, who documents her home renovation on TikTok, recently opened up about it as it’s been a year since she made the eerie find. She detailed all in a recent video, where she explained just what happened when she indulged in a bit of gardening.

It’s not the first time such a story has been brought to people’s attention either. Just last year, another couple admitted they made a bizarre outdoor discovery when digging up their lawn too.

Alongside the video, she wrote: “The day that changed my life! One year ago today, it was also a gorgeous sunny day, and I went out to clear the garden and ended up finding 17 porcelain dolls.

“It’s been a mystery ever since and still no idea why they were buried!” In the clip, she explained she found the dolls outside around a year ago when she was digging up her garden and they were “tucked up and buried” in the dirt.

She actually went on to dig out 17 porcelain dolls, which “took a while”, and even though it was a little bit creepy, she actually found it “hilarious”. When she lined them up in a row, you could see how totally unreal the experience must have been.

To this day, she doesn’t seem to know why they were buried, but she admitted it “changed her life”. Other videos show how she proceeded to bath them and clean them up as best as she could.

Since it was shared, the video has been viewed thousands of times, and it’s attracted hundreds of comments too. People couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw the dolls.

One person made their thoughts clear, writing: “This is how horror films start”. Another added: “Why on earth did someone create a graveyard of 17 porcelain dolls in your garden?”

A third replied: “I used to bury dolls when I had decided they had ‘died'”. Meanwhile, a fourth commented: “I’ve seen too many horror films. I would of moved house finding them”.

One more also suggested: “A little bit creepy. They are a lot bit creepy”. Someone else noted: “Omg, I would never set foot in that garden again”.

Based on other videos she’s shared, it seems as though she has kept the dolls. As they were caked in mud when she found them, she decided to give them a bath.

In another clip, she admitted they have now been “out of the ground a full year”. She personally thinks they look “pretty good”, and joked they could be the “best deterrent” for any potential intruders.

While we may never know how they got there, it’s clear the story has captivated many. It turns out we never know what really lies in our gardens.
