People have claimed this camping chair is ‘so comfortable’
Dunelm shoppers have been raving about a ‘cosy’ and colourful camping chair that is so comfortable that people claim they “don’t want to get out of it” once they settle in. The bold design stands out at a reasonable price while being “quite stylish”.
The Padded Yellow Ochre Camping Chair is available at Dunelm for £29 each. It is described by bosses at the homeware store as being “perfect for camping trips, picnics, or sporting events”, although some shoppers simply set it up at home in their own gardens, according to the reviews.
The store description continued: “Brighten up your outdoor adventures with the Padded Yellow Ochre Camping Chair. This folding chair combines comfort and portability, featuring a padded seat and backrest for relaxation and a handy carry bag for effortless transport.”

As shown in the product pictures, the seat comes with a handy compartment on the back. Aside from the yellow version, Dunelm shoppers could pick a darker colour with the Polka Dot Padded Garden Butterfly Chair (also £29).
There are other camping chairs available elsewhere for a similar price, such as The Range’s Deluxe Padded Folding Moon Chair (£29.99) or the OUTSUNNY Portable Camping Chair with Side Pocket (£17.85, down from £59.99). But, dozens had glowing reviews for the Dunelm options.
One said: “Absolutely the most comfortable camping/garden/picnic chairs I have sat in. You could actually fall asleep in it. Beautiful, vibrant colour! Highly recommended!”
Another put: “These camping chairs are so comfortable, they look great as well.” A third person wrote: “Hands down, this is the most comfortable camping chair I’ve ever sat in. A total bargain and win! Only drawback is you won’t want to get out of it!”
Someone else shared: “I was worried at first that it was a bit bulky, but it’s so easy to put together and repack. It’s also very comfortable and looks quite stylish. I’m in my 70s, so this is really important. Great for relaxing in the garden, reading or snoozing.”
Despite most of the reviews being high, some people had issues. One claimed: “Very flimsy stitching on the little pockets and retaining straps, both the chair broke on the second use and are being returned.”
Another put: “These chairs are so comfortable, and the design and fabric are beautiful. However, after the first use, the corner ripped. We are hoping that once we return home, Dunelm will replace.”
But, the majority of reviews were glowing. One of them said: “A really comfortable camping chair. Super simple to set up, not too heavy to carry. Bulkier than other camping chairs, but also much more comfortable. A pretty pattern in a great colour.”
