Tyson Fury’s family is back on our screens in At Home with the Furys but his mum doesn’t make an appearance
Tyson Fury’s family are on full display in the boxer’s Netflix reality show, but his mum is notably absent.
The heavyweight champ is back with hit docuseries At Home with the Furys, alongside wife Paris and their seven children.
The show originally hit screens in 2023, before taking a lengthy break.
Now, it has finally returned with 10 fresh episodes streaming now on Netflix.
This time around, viewers get a behind-the-scenes look at Tyson attempting retirement, while Paris tackles new business opportunities as well as busy family life in Morecambe Bay.
Fans also catch a glimpse of Tyson’s boxer brother Tommy Fury, and his father John. However, many have been left wondering where Tyson’s mother is.
Who is Tyson Fury’s mum?
Amber Fury is Tyson’s mother. While her son has cemented himself in the boxing hall of fame, she’s has managed to stay out of the spotlight.
She is extremely private and doesn’t make an appearance on the Netflix show, nor is she mentioned by the family.
This is likely because she chooses to lead a regular life, despite her family’s celebrity status.
There are no photos of Amber online, with the boxer admitting “it’s crazy” that she has dodged fame entirely.

He told Irish Mirror – “I looked on Google the other day and there’s not one picture of my mother on the internet. That’s crazy isn’t it?
“She has never been to one of my boxing fights, amateur or professional and never been in the public eye at all. She’s a private person. That’s her priority, not mine.”
Tyson also revealed that his mum doesn’t quite understand just how famous her son is. In his autobiography, Behind The Mask, he wrote: “To be honest, my mum doesn’t fully understand what I have achieved as a boxer.
“I took her out shopping one time after the Wilder fight and I was being stopped for photographs and autographs everywhere I went in Manchester and she couldn’t understand it.
“I had to explain to her that I was the heavyweight champion of the world and a lot of people had watched me and supported me. That was actually very special.”
Despite his mum’s absence in the series, Tyson’s dad John appears throughout. John and Amber were previously married and share four children including Tyson, Shane and Hugh. Their daughter, Ramona, sadly died shortly after she was born.
